I loved painting my large banana pieces however I am all too aware that not everyone has the space or budget for such large scale work.
This piece is one of 6 which I painted together as a hexatypch. The panels were hung flush together on the wall and I worked across all 6 a sa frieze. They look great as individual pieces or as sets of 2, 3 or 6.
I wanted to express the feeling of being in a glorious microcosm,sheltered by the bananas from the blistering sun, surrounded by birds and insects in the height of a Queenslnd summer.

this painting is currently unframed. As a panel, it can be hung on the wall as is with d rings and wire already attached to the back. If you would like framing then please inquire. There will be an additional cost for a hard wood float frame.
